We are the Electric Eagles FIRST Robotics team, based out of Lindblom Math & Science
Academy on the South Side of Chicago. Our team is comprised of students, teachers, and
professional engineer mentors.
Each year, the team participates in the FRC Challenge, in which we design and build a robot to
compete in a competition. Students learn the fundamentals of engineering, the design process,
and basic manufacturing and building skills. Students receive hands-on training for CAD design,
wiring, programming, and machining. We then apply these skills to build the robot.
